Susie Frazier

Susie Frazier is a biophilic artist who integrates mind-calming design solutions into built environments to better support human health and wellness. Using a deep understanding of the healing effects of nature’s patterns and textures, Susie has shaped the vision of multifamily developments, designed interior features, and created site specific art installations for health care, hospitality, corporate, and residential projects across the U.S. and abroad. She is the author of Designing For Wellness, an award-winning book of practical tips for improving mental health through the decorative choices we make in our indoor environments. Available through Amazon and Apple Books, this independently-published title was the winner of a 2020 International Book Award, a 2020 Living Now Book Award, a 2020 Global eBook Award, and two Best Book Award recognitions as a finalist in the Home & Garden and Health/Psychology Mental Health Categories. Susie and her ideas have been featured in Psychology Today, CBS San Diego, Fox News Houston, U.S. News & World Report, The Wall Street Journal, and Interiors + Sources, among others. She is also a contributing writer to Organic Spa Magazine, Thrive Global, and Hers Magazine. In 2018, she was the recipient of a regional Emmy® award for her NBC TV pilot “Movers & Makers with Susie Frazier,” which aired locally in Northeast Ohio. A pioneering leader for Ohio's creative businesses, Susie founded a technology enterprise, Maker Town, which invented and operates the nation's first mobile app for discovering local makers, their products, and their activities.
