A MOBILE APP FOR FINDING LOCAL ART

Any art business looking to build a stronger presence with local art lovers can join the Maker Town community, whether they operate an online shop, a physical store, or a home studio. App users looking to connect or shop with an artisan they discover are linked directly to their website, Etsy page, or social media profile, eliminating the problem of makers having to manage yet another commerce platform.

A POPUP MARKET FOR SHOPPING LOCAL

But Maker Town isn’t just bringing mobile technology to the arts scene. It also operates sixteen popup markets annually in Cleveland at multiple locations, including 78th Street Studios’ lower level during the monthly Third Friday Art Walk. This summer, planners are teaming up with Vino Veritas Cellars Winery in Old Brooklyn to host the Maker Town Vintage + Handmade Market from 11 am to 4 pm on June 26 and September 25. This free, outdoor, dog-friendly event will feature over twenty Ohio makers nestled in the winery landscape, offering visitors a charming setting to shop locally-made art products and hand-crafted local wine.
