Join us for a community workshop on March 18th and help bring a stunning public art installation to life! Valley Art Center is partnering with artist Ron Shelton to create an environmental art display made entirely from recycled plastics. The installation will be showcased in at a soon-to-be-announced location for World Art Day and Earth Day, and will be recycled and reappear on the exterior of Valley Art Center’s building in September.

At the workshop, you’ll have the opportunity to work alongside the artist and other community members to create pieces for the installation. This is an all-ages event and no prior experience is necessary – just bring your creativity and enthusiasm!

Ron Shelton will also be presenting a video and talking to the community about the lifespan of plastic.

We hope that this project will inspire creativity and encourage conversation about the impact of our actions on the environment. By participating in the workshop, you can make a difference through art and help raise awareness of sustainability in our community.

Don’t miss out on this exciting opportunity to get involved in public art and environmental sustainability. We look forward to seeing you on March 18th!
