Tri-C West is pleased to announce A Precarious Situation, a compelling two-person abstract art collaborative. The exhibition runs from August 28 through October 12.

The gallery is located at Gallery West on the campus of Tri-C West. A Precarious Situation challenges our visual footing and asks us to reconsider the art experience differently through formal and temporal qualities, color, space, movement, perspective, and illusion.

Words like dangerous, risky, and perilous easily conjure a personal response to precarious. Insecurities and uncertainties necessitate a need for balance and the abstract work by these two artists reinforces that notion. This exhibit takes us beyond the edge of falling and into a world of conceptual fascination where any hints of realism are left behind, asking the viewer to reconsider instability through art that is captivating and intriguing.

Opening reception from 5 to 7 pm on Wednesday, September 13.
