Fall Exhibits in The Galleries at CSU

The Galleries at CSU are proud to present three important exhibitions this fall season.

Sixty Paintings from the Bible, and To Speak Her Heart open with a reception Thursday, September 1, from 5 to 8pm. In the first exhibit, Archie Rand depicts 60 salient moments from the stories in the Hebrew Bible.  In the second, Leslie A. Golomb and Barbara Broff Goldman present an Illustrated Anthology of Jewish Women’s Prayers and Poems. Both exhibitions run through October 8. Join us for Gallery Conversations on the day of the opening: Archie Rand at 4 pm in the North Gallery, and at 6 pm Leslie A. Golomb and Barbara Broff Goldman in the South Gallery.

The ever popular People’s Art Show returns October 28 for the twenty-second time since its beginnings in 1983. This non-juried, free, and open celebration of creativity, diversity, and imagination is open to all. Three hundred fifty artists are expected to participate, with approximately 500 works in all media. To show your own art bring up to 2 works to The Galleries on Friday, October 14 or Saturday, October 15 from 10am to 4pm. All works submitted in any medium, subject, and size will be displayed – no restrictions. The show runs through December 8.
