CPR: Busy with Classes, Workshops, and Exhibits

Things are busy as always at the Cleveland Print Room this Fall, with more new classes and workshops than ever, and a lively schedule of exhibits in our gallery to delight and inspire.

The Fall gallery schedule begins with Perpetual Ephemera, a group show featuring four area artists — Preston Buchtel, Ryn Clarke, Hadley K Conner, and Raheleh Mohammad – creating mixed media pieces and assemblages incorporating a variety of photographic processes. The new work in the show represents challenges for each artist, both in content and process, combining traditional and alternative photographic processes with a variety of other media (September 30 – November 5). The artists will give a gallery talk at 1 pm Saturday, October 22.

Loreto Greve, Cleveland Foundation Creative Fusion artist-in-residence at CPR, will exhibit her work in a show opening November 11. You’ll find much more information about her in the Creative Fusion section, later in this issue of CAN.

On October 16, join us for Cleveland Print Room’s fifth annual FOTO Brunch Fundraiser at Mahall’s 20 Lanes in Lakewood. With food provided by Breadsmith and other local fine culinary masters, tickets for the brunch are $25, or $10 for 18 and under. Special Patron packages, which include a CPR T-shirt and coffee mug, are $50 per person. There will also be silent auctions, 50/50 raffles, a cash bar and much more.
