Orange Art Center: Return of the Snowbirds

The energy at the Orange Art Center this spring is off the charts. The snowbirds are back and the staff has diligently been working to provide a smooth transition as the OAC and the Orange Community Education & Recreation Department merge.

We are happy to announce that most of our veteran instructors will return to provide the quality of classes you have come to love and expect, taught with the enthusiasm and professionalism you deserve.

We are offering a NEW Friday morning class, Mediterranean Landscapes, taught by Dino Massaroni. This painting class will give you the opportunity to work from your own vacation photographs to create your idyllic landscape. This class as well as all the adult classes will continue to take place at the OAC while a few of the children’s classes will move over to the Pepper Pike Learning Center.

We are also offering a number classes for kids after school and on Saturdays. New, Bling! Bling! Bling! taught by Leila Khoury is designed for grades 3-5 to explore the simple techniques of creating jewelry. Hope Zusy will be introducing kids to a different clay project each week in our Hurray for Clay Saturday Pottery Workshop series.

Please visit our website at orangeartcenter.org or orangerec.com for a complete list of classes and workshops for adults, teens and children. Here’s to a creative spring.
