Rediscover Film at the Print Room

Clevleand-print-room-SURROUNDINGS

Join us at the Cleveland Print Room this Fall to take advantage of all the opportunities our photography center has to offer. Members get access to Cleveland’s only community darkroom where you can develop and print your film. You also get discounts on classes and workshops, from shooting film to darkroom printing and processing. Specialized workshops teach alternative processes, such as making and using pinhole cameras, as well as creating camera-less images with photograms and cyanotypes. Young and old, CPR has classes for the novice to the experienced photographer.

The fall gallery schedule begins with Surroundings, a group show featuring the work of photographers Deborah Pinter, Arnold Tunstall, and David Bergholz. Opening with a reception on Friday, September 18, this exhibit runs through October 24. All three artists give a gallery talk at 1 pm Saturday, September 19.

Next comes the culminating exhibition of our Cleveland Foundation Creative Fusion artist-in-residence, Adolfo Bimer from Chile. Along with his own work, this exhibit will also feature work created in collaboration between Adolfo and local high school students from St. Martin De Porres and Lake Erie Ink. This exhibition will have its opening on Friday, November 6, and will run through November 25.

Reignite your passion for film photography at the Cleveland Print Room this Fall. From gallery shows to photography workshops, there is something for everyone at the Print Room.
