Winter Classes at Orange Art Center

The Orange Art Center’s Winter 2014 Fine Art and Craft classes begin the week of January 20th. Among the offerings for adults this winter are a variety of evening and daytime fine art jewelry classes, pottery classes, fused glass jewelry workshops, and batik-on-silk workshops.

The fused glass workshops, taught by Jennifer Szalkowski, are always some of our most popular offerings. Jennifer teaches several different glass fusing techniques, each with its own look and application. Beginners and experienced students alike can create beautiful pieces with the processes learned in these classes.

Pottery also continues to be in high demand, thanks in large part to our talented and vibrant faculty: Brigitte Fiorilli, Claire Raack, and Billy Ritter all inspire their students, making each class a fun and fulfilling experience, both through hand-building and wheel throwing practices.

The schedule also includes classes by veteran faculty members like Debra Rosen (Fine Jewelry), and a wide assortment of drawing and painting classes with John W. Carlson, Susan Graham, Lou Grasso, George Kozmon, Dino Massaroni, A.D. Peters, and Bob Raack.

For those who want a more intensive learning experience, or who cannot commit to a longer-term weekly class, our one- and two-day Fine Art and Craft workshops, offered throughout the year, are perfect. Go to orangeartcenter.org for an up-to-date and complete list of current classes and workshops!
