Thanks to a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts, all of Zygote Press’s 2023 residency programs are fully supported, including our Black, Indigenous and Artists of Color Fellowship—which is now in its fourth cohort. Each BIPOC fellow participates in a ten-week program that gives them the opportunity to learn a variety of printmaking techniques, including silkscreen, etching, lithography, monoprint, relief, and RISO. They receive financial support, as well as full shop access. We are currently accepting applications for our summer 2023 BIPOC cohort—the deadline to apply is April 1, 2023.

Participants in our fall and spring 2022 BIPOC residency will be exhibiting their work at Zygote’s Gallery, in an exhibition organized by the fellows with support from Ben Levy, a curator and PhD candidate at Case Western Reserve University. Artists to be shown include Charisse Harris (pictured), Paula Jackson, Sydney Jefferson, Ron Shelton, and will0w Watson.
