Tricia Kaman is partnering with BAYarts to showcase a themed collection of work in her upcoming solo exhibition, A Closer Look.

The exhibition is designed to show viewers the intricacies of Kaman’s unique creative methods. Paintings from throughout her career will provide examples of her techniques for approaching color and composition, rendering fabrics and metals, and other elements of design.

Attendees are invited to see familiar paintings in new ways, as Kaman’s artwork will be accompanied by written commentaries transcribed from interviews with the artist herself.

Tricia Kaman has charted a unique course as a professional artist. From her portrait shoppe at Geauga Lake to her perpetuation of traditional hand-cut silhouettes, Kaman’s decades of experience have shaped her inimitable visual style. This exhibition aims to show exactly how those stories are retold through her brushwork, giving patrons the opportunity to appreciate her stylistic idiosyncrasies even more.
