Ingenuity: Come Celebrate with Us!

In 2025, Ingenuity Cleveland is celebrating its twentieth full season of programming with a return to roots, honoring the rich industrial history that brought Cleveland to life! Ingenuity is proud to make its home on the east side in the St. Clair-Superior neighborhood, an area known for its vibrant history of manufacturing that helped build the city as we know it today. IngenuityLabs, Ingenuity’s year-round home and incubator space, is situated in the former Osborn Manufacturing Co., breathing new light, life and creativity into one of Cleveland’s many former bustling industrial sites.

Relive the Renaissance…
We are so excited to share all of this and more with you at the Ingenuity Bal: Rust Belt Renaissance on Saturday, May 10, at IngenuityLabs at the Hamilton Collaborative (5401 Hamilton Avenue, Cleveland 44114).

The Ingenuity Bal: Rust Belt Renaissance will celebrate the beginning of a new season of programming with an evening of rebirth and revitalization, featuring the Tesla Orchestra, flame effects, music and dancing, hands-on demonstrations from IngenuityLabs Incubator members, hors d’oeuvres, craft cocktails and more!

The annual Ingenuity Bal is a slightly off-kilter gala unlike anything else in town! Once known as the Bal Ingenieux, the event pays homage to Cleveland’s exclusive arts club that dominated modernist arts in the city from the 1910s until the 1940s. The Kokoon Club’s annual Bal Masque challenged artistic norms with the most unconventional parties around, hearkening all the way back to the masquerade balls of the Italian Renaissance and the elaborate festivals of the Venetian Carnival.
