Two city blocks. Three Floors. Twenty-three days.
CAN Triennial will scour seven counties to present an accurate view of exemplary art-making in Northeast Ohio. Coinciding with FRONT International Cleveland Triennial for Contemporary Art, at a time when the international art world will come to Cleveland, CAN Triennial will present Cleveland art to the world.
CAN Triennial incorporates a broad range of media–painting, printmaking, photography, sculpture, fiber–as well as site specific installations. Throughout the exhibit we will present screenings of works by regional film makers and performances by musicians and composers of Northeast Ohio.
Artists Archives of the Western Reserve and ARTneo will collaborate to present an exhibit examining Cleveland art of the 20th century.
