OPEN YARDS III: YARDS Project Space at Worthington Yards, September 25–January 10, 2026

With a long-standing reputation for art-integrated development and historic preservation, the Dalad Group continues to champion Cleveland’s creative identity through its latest project, Franklin Yard, located in the heart of Ohio City. This ambitious third venture builds on the group’s legacy of transforming historic spaces into vibrant, art-rich environments, joining the ranks of Worthington Yards and Tinnerman Lofts.

Set within a meticulously restored 1853 Cook-Bousfield mansion and former YWCA dormitory on Franklin Boulevard, Franklin Yard offers not only residential space but a full embrace of Cleveland’s artistic spirit. The site includes a Victorian-style mansion and early-1900s apartment buildings, all connected by an architectural footprint that invites community gathering and creative exchange.

To mark the occasion, YARDS Project Space at Worthington Yards presents Open Yards III, a celebratory exhibition showcasing over thirty new artists whose work has recently been acquired into the growing Dalad Collection. Now totaling over 500 original works by more than 250 artists, the collection includes site-specific commissions, murals, sculpture, and works on paper—making it one of the most robust private collections of Northeast Ohio art integrated into residential living.

Open Yards III not only introduces the public to artists new to the Dalad Collection, but also reinforces the group’s commitment to supporting and sustaining artists at all stages of their careers. The show opens Thursday, September 25, and runs through January 10, 2026, offering ample opportunity for visitors to view and collect work. Curated by Liz Maugans, the exhibition will be accompanied by open house tours of Franklin Yard, giving guests a firsthand look at how contemporary art and historic architecture converge in everyday spaces.

Featured artists include Elisa Albrecht, Eleanor Anderson, Allison Bogard Hall, Cathie Bleck, Jacqui Brown, Katie Butler, Stephen Calhoun, Brue Checefsky, Martha Cliffel, Ron Copeland, Sarah Curry, Dayzwhun, Chris Dean, Isabel Farnsworth, Lori Kella, George Kocar, Yuko Kimura, Beth Lindenberger, Michael Loderstedt, David Mahler, Liz Maugans, Michaelle Marschall, Yana Mikho-Misho, Sylvia Munodawafa, Claudio Orso, Theadis Reagins, Noel Reifel, Jesse Rhinehart, Audra Skuodas, Christopher Owen Smith, Mark Soppeland, Paris Snyder, Douglas Max Utter, Laila Voss, Donna Webb and Corwin Levi.

As Cleveland continues to evolve, the Dalad Group’s projects serve as a powerful model for how development and culture can coexist—preserving the character of place while elevating the voices of the artists who live and work here.
