13TH ANNUAL JURIED EXHIBITION, PUBLIC RECEPTION AND AWARDS ANNOUNCEMENT
This March, the Morgan Conservatory hosts its 13th Annual Juried Exhibition, Interwoven Aspects: Innovation and Tradition in Paper Art. Over thirty artists from 21 states explore the ever-changing landscape this quarter century brings with artworks that convey the rise of AI and other technologies, ideas of intersectionality, or the transformative nature of paper as a medium and substrate. This year’s thought-provoking and tactile exhibition was juried by Kelly Taylor Mitchell and Ashley Pastore.

Join us for our public reception and award ceremony from 5 to 8 pm Friday, March 28, at the Morgan Conservatory. This compelling exhibition is on view from March 7–April 29.

10TH INTERNATIONAL ARTIST’S BOOK TRIENNIAL, May 23–June 28
The Morgan Conservatory is proud to be part of the 10th International Artist’s Book Triennial Vilnius 2024, an international movement dedicated to the promotion and cultivation of artist’s books. This year, the triennial invited artists to create conceptual works responding to the theme “To Be.” More than thirty artists have produced works contemplating the possibilities of existence, reflecting on the current state of the world with its conflicts, crises, and pandemics that find us deeply examining existential questions.

The Triennial is a touring exhibition and truly international experience. Since the first International Artist’s Book Triennial Vilnius in 1997, the exhibitions have represented nearly 1000 artists from 68 countries and have been shown not only in Lithuania, but also across cities in Austria, France, Germany, Italy, South Korea, Sweden, Denmark, and this year in the US.
Be sure to join us for our opening reception from 6 to 8:30 pm on Friday, May 23, to celebrate an international love of the artist book.
