Since 2001, La Cosecha Galeria has gained a reputation for three things: being aggressively proactive, developing artists, and selling art. As we survey the landscape for the future in the arts community, many artists and arts organizations may not survive, nor will we go back to how things operated previously. The choice becomes simple—either spend our time as artists making a living or making art live for us. Whatever the obstacle. Denied funding, access to shows, unaccepted into the fine arts community, a pandemic or just opening in a new location, it matters not. Artists will create. Thirty-one pieces in two months—that is artwork sold since our doors have opened. As well as sixteen musicians, poets and performers had the opportunity to participate in shows with us. Meaning multiple local artists, in a multitude of genres, earned income, including myself. Now we are excited to share our knowledge and launch the Incubator Studio as part of the Creative Industry Professional Development Program.

Incubator Studio Program

La Cosecha Galeria introduces our Incubator Studio as part of the Creative Industry Professional Development Program. Our program is specifically geared for individual artists, crafters, makers, and entrepreneurs. This approach creates synergetic benefit by providing high quality professional practice opportunities for artists, allowing for the development of a program which is responsive to the needs of artists at the local level and providing capacity to expand our reach of the program with strategic partners. We provide artist/business incubator space in three-month intervals while working continuously under consultation within the gallery scope of our Creative Industry Professional Development Programming.

Every Friday Buskers Night

La Cosecha Galeria introduces its Buskers Night series, featuring amazingly talented musicians’ solo performances outdoors at 6:00pm during the weather-permitting fall season.

Every Saturday Art Shows

With a rolling call for artists/craftsmen/makers, we are proud to welcome everyone to our Saturday Art Opening Nights featuring an amazingly talented diversity of local artists inspiring visions of cultural beauty for the viewer, with viewings open to the public during hours of operation Monday through Saturday.

Monthly Storytellers Night

The Storyteller series features amazingly talented artists encouraged to share their skills and experiences every month.

Last Saturday Every Month

Our Open Mic Night, Higher Verse, featuring amazingly talented artists is held the last Saturday of every month. Signup begins at 6:00pm; show starts at 7:00pm. Open call: musicians, poets, magicians, and comics—everybody welcomed! An audience vote awards the prize.

LCG Halloween Emporium 2021

We welcome another fall season and are THRILLED to announce that not only do we continue to be the counterculture creative mirror, but through October 31, La Cosecha Galeria is now your local Halloween Emporium!! Please feel free to come view our haunted collection and purchase your terrifying attire and horrifying decorations from our unique variety of creative quality products. Our seasonal merchandise includes children’s costumes, adult costumes, latex mask collection, makeup kits and special effects/scene décor.

LCG Annual Holiday Market Kickoff

The market brings together a diversity of people and art with original handmade crafts, sculptures, embroidery, paintings, photography, books, antiques, and many other unique items for purchase during this gift-giving season. A variety of exotic delicacies, desserts, and beverages will be offered for sale as well. This event is open to the public, and we hope all can join us for this celebration of local artisans and entrepreneurs every weekend beginning November 6 until December 24, featuring different vendors weekly.

La Cosecha Galeria is proud to present Black Friday Art Sale on November 26, featuring the original artwork of Owner/Artist/Poet/Activist Will “Topiltzin” Sanchez for 50% OFF retail price! As he prepares for a new season of work, he hopes to have art lovers receive a high-quality fine art piece for a discounted price to create room for an upcoming series of paintings.
