Love is not talked about much in the world of art, but a show opening in January of 2017 brings the subject of love to light at Zygote Press. Chido Johnson, the Chief Love Developer of a traveling Love Library continues to expand this collection of  Harlequin-scaled, altered books by a Cleveland Chapter of artists to open up their concepts about desire, adoration, and affection.

 

Johnson, who was born in Zimbabwe created Love Library as an homage to his mother who read Harlequin Romance novels to improve her English skills.  This manifestation of love will be extended to 20 artists with connections to Cleveland, who will embody their own love stories. They include John G, Sarah Paul, David Reid and James Klein, The library archives of other “chapters” (or cities ) will also be on view.

 

Let’s Talk About Love Baby will present other passionate, love-filled programs that hug Valentines Day, the chance to find their own sweet and sexy, seductive and sultry stories and ideas about love.
