The Print Club of Cleveland’s Fine Print Fair returns to the Cleveland Museum of Art from April 24 to 27 with three new print dealers, including a Northeast-Ohio-trained artist and master printer.

The three new dealers are Raven Fine Art Editions, Procuniar Workshop, and Bleu Acier. Ruiz-Healy Art will be returning after a long absence.

Raven Fine Art Editions, Easton, PA, was founded by Curlee Raven Holton, a Cleveland native who trained at Cleveland Institute of Art and Kent State University. As a young man during the 1970s, Holton was mentored by artists at Karamu House, Cleveland’s nationally known center for Black theater and arts. His lithograph White Terms will be featured in the upcoming CMA exhibition, Karamu Artists Inc.: Printmaking, Race, and Community, and he contributed to the accompanying book. As a master printer, Holton has collaborated with Faith Ringold and David C. Driskoll, and he’ll be bringing their work and the work of emerging artists to the fair.

Procuniar Workshop, New York, was established in 1970 with a focus on screenprinting; since then, it has developed its production of works of art on paper through the lens of various printmaking techniques. Among the artists working at Procuniar early on were Richard Hunt and Lester Johnson. The workshop is especially known for its work with Louise Bourgeois, printing and publishing two major Bourgeois projects, comprising 44 individual compositions.

Bleu Acier, Tampa, FL, a limited-edition fine art print publisher and collaborative workshop, specializes in sculpture, drawings and editions, including prints, monotypes, multiples and books. It was founded in 2003 and features work by artists such as Paula Scher and Richard Dupont.

Ruiz-Healy Art, San Antonio, TX, represents an international roster of artists, placing an emphasis on Latino/a and Latin American artists and prominent Texas-based artists. Biculturalism and identity discourse play an important role in the work of several of the artists represented by the gallery, including Consuelo Jimenez Underwood and Richard “Ricky” Armendariz.

This will be the 40th Fine Print Fair sponsored by the Print Club, a century-old affinity group of the Cleveland Museum of Art. The Fine Print Fair will be held April 25 to 27 in the Ames Family Atrium and is free and open to the public. There will be a ticketed preview party held the evening of Thursday, April 24.
