abattoirgallery

Biographical Info Abattoir, a commercial gallery space in the historic Hildebrandt Building, a former meat processing plant in the resurgent Clark-Fulton neighborhood of Cleveland, is located between the West 25th Street corridor and Ohio City. The gallery will open in mid-April 2020 and present a program of local, regional, and national artists, designed to elicit thought-provoking conversation and discussion. The gallery is committed to hosting events around the exhibitions which may include talks, panels or performances. All events will be free and open to the public. Rose Burlingham and Lisa Kurzner bring decades of experience to this gallery venture. Burlingham-gallerist, painter and writer--Kurzner an independent curator, and consultant, first worked together on Front International: they are excited to be part of the Clark-Fulton neighborhood. The gallery is adjacent to a large space that will eventually be available for community events and we look forward to coordinating our program with these.
