Take a closer intimate look at the soul of LOLO. She has been a painter since her days at Schenley High School of Pittsburgh, PA 1991. There was some time that has past between painting and being a single mother of three sons that took her away to her priorities, but she always knew, she would find her way back to the easel and that timer came in 2003 and she hasn’t stopped since. Painting her feelings is all she knows. “I love artists who seem to have a clear direction on how their show will go. I go with the flow and just create what I feel because that’s the present moment and if I create that. then I get to share that moment with others. That’s what’s important to me. It doesn’t have to make sense. It just needs to relate and someone to feel themselves in there too. That is what all of my paintings do because I intend it to be that way. I am different, but that’s what I will always be, just me. That needs to be ok too. and this is what this show is about, diversity, introspection and feeling enough to exist and be exactly who we are meant to be.”
