Lake Erie Artist Symposium
LCG presents its inaugural edition of the Lake Erie Artist Symposium, a creative industry storytelling series focused on the perspective of issues and adaptation during an unprecedented economic time. Connect with industry leaders to learn more about current obstacles and transformational strategies used by these innovators within the arts and culture community as they share their stories, processes, and ideas. The choice becomes simple: either spend our time as artists making a living or as artists making art live for us. The event will take place from noon to 11pm on Saturday, September 2, on Market Square at Crocker Park, 239 Market Street, Westlake, Ohio 44145. Free parking is available at the Crocker Park parking lot facilities.
• The Symposium is an economic and workforce development program about reinvigorating the individual artist by forging an identity in the arts through an anchor arts center.
• The Symposium is a convergence of minds under an atmosphere that stimulates creativity with a goal to improve the state of society.
• The Symposium is a convergence of thought with a goal to build a common sense of identity by creating a platform for full expression of potential.
• The Symposium creates an environment where people can see themselves come alive without limitations and get equipped to LIVE a purpose-driven life that transforms society.
