Deep Roots Experience Creates Space for Black and Brown Artists

Deep Roots Experience is a gallery devoted to creating the space for Black and Brown people to be celebrated in artistic expression. That celebration happens in the form of exhibitions, education, and classes for youth and young people. The gallery exists as an extension of Higher Art Life, a nonprofit organization devoted to the education of teens and young people in art. Through the intentional work of highlighting and uplifting artists of melanated skin, we create a space for art to be experienced by ALL people from the lens of Black and Brown artists.
