Bonfoey Gallery, located in Cleveland’s Playhouse Square District at 1710 Euclid Avenue, was established in 1893. We are celebrating our 125^th year as Cleveland’s premier art gallery and framing facility. Surviving the Great Depression, a devastating fire in the 1960s, the Euclid Corridor Project, and the Great Recession of 2008, The Bonfoey Gallery remains a stalwart of downtown Cleveland and continues to serve the community today.

Our anniversary year will be full of events thanking our clients, artists, and fellow Clevelanders for the many years of support, and featuring three noteworthy exhibitions during the summer months to coincide with FRONT International 2018. We welcome all to celebrate with us.

Bonfoey’s specializes in regional contemporary paintings, drawings, photographs, print works, sculpture, and glass. These works were created by some of the area’s most prominent and emerging artists. Our unparalleled roster of almost 100 artists comprises an inventory of over 2,000 works.

The expansive framing department makes up approximately sixty percent of the two-floor, 14,000-square-foot downtown facility. To this day, the gallery still offers in-house hand-carved frames, gold leafing, and custom gilding. The Bonfoey staff includes seven skilled craftspeople, most of whom have been with the company for over twenty years, and six sales associates with over one hundred years combined experience. Other services provided by the gallery include art restoration, art appraisals, storage, shipping, and installation.
