Four Years of Access, Education, and Exhibits at CPR

Cleveland-Print-Room-Peter J Cohen - red hand

Join us at the Cleveland Print Room this Spring as we plunge into our fourth year. Members of the Print Room have access to Cleveland’s only community darkroom, where you can develop and print your own film. Members also receive discounts on classes and workshops — from how to shoot film, to darkroom printing and processing. We also offer specialized workshops on alternative processes, such as making and using pinhole cameras and creating cameraless images with photograms. CPR has classes for all ages and levels of experience.

The Print Room is proud to bring a special selection of found photography from the archives of prominent New York City collector Peter J. Cohen in the exhibition In Search of Red and Other Stories, curated by CPR’s Shari Wilkins and Sabine Kretzschmar. The show opens March 11, with a gallery talk by Cohen scheduled to take place during the opening reception.

Capping the spring schedule is the Cleveland Project (May 20 – May 30), an exhibition featuring the work of the Cleveland Foundation’s Creative Fusion artist-in-residence, painter Blessing Ngobeni from South Africa.

Reignite your passion for film photography at the Cleveland Print Room this spring. From gallery shows to photography workshops, there is something for everyone at the Print Room.
