Celebrating its 50th year of business, Fairmount has been serving the residents of northeast Ohio through arts enrichment and programming. In an effort to preserve the past and reimagine the future, the Fairmount Art Exhibition serves as one of the many celebrations throughout the year honoring Fairmount’s rich history and exciting path forward. The Fairmount Art Exhibit showcases the incredible talent of our region’s most prominent, professional artists.
Artist Mark Badzik shared, “A new artist can certainly be launched at Fairmount. What I love about the show is that it has been promoting artists for a long time. The show is well established with terrific exposure.”
Artists are invited to enter their artwork in numerous categories for an opportunity to have their work presented and judged. Monetary prizes will be awarded, including $1000 for Best in Show, $200 for 1st place, $100 for 2nd place and multiple honorable mention awards. In recent years, Fairmount has received up to 350 pieces of artwork with 150 works on view for the general public. This successful event is a great opportunity for community recognition, and provides further opportunities to be featured at Fairmount in a show and/or on social media in the future.
