With the intent of advancing the careers of Northeast Ohio artists, and In the spirit of networking and collaboration, CAN Triennial has partnered with regional exhibiting and collecting institutions to offer Exhibition Prizes and Purchase Prizes.
Exhibition Prizes
Curators from the following named museums and exhibiting institutions will choose from the artists exhibiting in CAN Triennial an artist to award a solo exhibit in their venue in the coming seasons:
ARTneo CAN Triennial Exhibition Prize
BAYarts CAN Triennial Exhibition Prize
Canton Museum of Art CAN Triennial Exhibition Prize
Mansfield Art Center CAN Triennial Exhibition Prize
Massillon Museum of Art CAN Triennial Exhibition Prize
Purchase Prizes
The following institutions will add to their collections artworks chosen from CAN Triennial:
University Hospitals
CARTA (Cleveland Art Association)
CAN Journal Award
Additionally, CAN Triennial staff will choose from the exhibit an artist whose work will be featured on the cover of an upcoming CAN Journal, and who will be the subject of a feature profile.
People’s Choice Award
Finally, visitors to CAN Triennial will have a voice: Decided by popular vote by visitors in attendance at CAN Triennial, we are proud to offer the CAN Triennial People’s Choice Award
