Art EverySpace is honored to partner with The East End in the grand opening of a new art gallery. The historic, mixed-use project is a 1.4 million-square-foot redevelopment of Goodyear’s former headquarters. Today, it offers Akron the newest and best live/work/play experiences.

The gallery will be featured in the lobby of 1200 East Market Street. The permanent collection, known as The East End Collection, celebrates local artists with paintings, prints, photography, and installations throughout this dynamic property. Phase one of the permanent collection is inspiring and not to be missed; additional phases will follow. The East End is committed to supporting art and culture in Akron, and strengthening the community. Quarterly rotating exhibitions, art tours, artist talks, and other cultural programming will be announced and designed by Art EverySpace.

The gallery complements two event venues, a fully-managed sports complex, 1,500-seat theater, 20,000-square-foot gymnasium, and Class A office space. The development also offers luxurious apartments and a Hilton Garden Inn Hotel, and it hosts restaurants and a brewery on-site.

The gallery opened August 25, 2021, with the Open (End)ed Show featuring the work of Dragana Crnjak, Isabel Farnsworth, Michael Gable, Mark Keffer, Christine Mauersberger, Taryn McMahon, and Hui-Chu Ying. Their stunning work is on display through December. These artists are showing newly-created works and are also featured in the permanent collection.
