On The Move: CLE + Philly + NYC + Zurich!

Deb-Lawrence-Get Going, Deb Lawrence, 2016 48- x 72- oil on antique linen

Hello again, friends:

As you may know, I’ve been “on the move.” Though my studio is no longer full time in Cleveland, my CLE friends and supporters know I’m still active in Cleveland’s art scene …and want to keep it that way!  Feeling So Honored: Thank you, CLE!

American Greetings’ New Headquarters

I feel so honored to have two large works featured in American Greetings’s Collection for their new world headquarters (americangreetings.com). 2016 is an historic year as the 110-year-old, family-owned company moved into the new Creative Studios at Crocker Park. Special thanks to Chief Creative Officer, Kathy McConaughy, for your tremendous support!

Hilton Cleveland Downtown

I also feel so fortunate to have my work showcased at the new Hilton Cleveland Downtown (hilton.com) alongside Matt Dibble, Hildur Asgeirsdottir Jonsson, Charmagne Spencer, Jerry Schmidt, and so many other talented local artists. Thanks to Kalisher (kalisher.com) for curating, and the Bonfoey Gallery (bonfoey.com) for framing.

Thanks, too, to Christy Gray, of Gray Haus Studios (grayhausstudios.com), and Eileen Roth, of Art Source Cleveland (artsourcecleveland.com ), for placing a triptych of my work at Baker Hostetler’s downtown office (bakerlaw.com).

ARTneo

If you’re a lover of ARTneo (artneo.org) like I am, then hopefully you didn’t miss the ARTneoTour of Cleveland art-supporter David Ream’s magnificent home! Thanks, David, for your tremendous support and recent acquisition for your entryway. And thanks to John Farina and Adam Tully of Maria Neil Project (marianeilartproject.com), as well as acclaimed local artist Matt Dibble, for your hands in framing the work!

In New York City:  Solo show at Cheryl Hazen Gallery

If you’re in NYC this fall, I would love to see you at the opening of my first solo show there! Opening October, 2016, at Cheryl Hazen Gallery in Tribeca. Visit cherylhazen.com for specific dates and times.

Cleveland to Philly and Back Again: Come Visit?

I’ve been busy painting in my amazing new studio outside of Philly. Most days I paint outdoors to the sound of songbirds amidst the wisteria and honeybees…for real! Once we’re done converting the lower stone carriage house to an apartment, I hope you’ll come for a studio visit full of peace and tranquility. Thank you, Cleveland, from the bottom of my heart.  I would love to keep painting for you, CLE, so let’s stay in touch!
