We did it! Our dream of opening a Harris Stanton Gallery north is now a reality. We looked at several areas but chose a location in the Warehouse District where we could be a part of and support an exciting, new rebirth of the city. A downtown location–which also helps us reach both east and west sides of Cleveland–made the most sense. It was a wild and anxiety-ridden ride to get from purchasing the space (yes, we are now investors in downtown Cleveland!) at the end of April, to our Grand Opening in June. But we did it, and we are thrilled to be here! We were completely overwhelmed by the crowds of people who came to wish us well at our Grand Opening. We thank you for your support!

We are currently planning 5 annual exhibitions at our Cleveland Gallery. On September 5 we are opening an exhibition of complex, vibrant mixed-media (linoleum cut and collage) works by Maria Zanetta, Argentinian born professor at the University of Akron. Her subjects include landscape, still life, figures, and abstracts. The other exhibiting artist is Tara Lynn, an award-winning ceramic artist who creates extraordinary oversized Chihuly-like forms in clay. Both artists have exhibited nationally and are in international collections.

Meanwhile in Akron (On September 12) we will open our 27^th annual International Show which will feature intricate etchings by German artist Alexander Befelein, as well as lithographs by French artist Pierre Boncompain.

The 1^st annual International Show in Cleveland will open November 14 and will showcase pieces from my summer trip to Paris.
