ArtFace: Grafton J. Nunes, President, Cleveland Institute of Art
Grafton J. Nunes is the tenth president to serve the Cleveland Institute of Art. Nunes began his career as a filmmaker (working on Light of Day, the rock and roll story partially filmed in Cleveland, among other projects) before turning his career toward higher education. In his post at CIA, Nunes oversees the Campus Unification Project, with its $55 million capital campaign. He serves on the boards of Ingenuity, the Greater Cleveland Film Commission, and the Cleveland Art Association (CARTA). Photographed by Herbert Ascherman, Jr.
