Fairmount Center for the Arts announces an upcoming “Pull Back the Curtain” Speaker Series program featuring Bridie Srsen Carroll, musical theatre performer. Ms. Carroll was on the National Tour of the Broadway Musical “Wicked.” Ms. Carroll will share her stories from “Wicked” and her journey with musical theatre on Sunday, December 19 from 3-4pm. The program will be held at Fairmount Center for the Arts.
From deciding to pursue musical theatre as a career, life in NYC, road life touring with a Broadway show, and then next steps in life pursuing passion and purpose, this program will provide insight and perspective from a life spent shining on stage. Bridie has had an impressive career in professional theater, with appearances in broadway tours, off-broadway musicals, and with numerous other theater groups. Bridie’s accomplishments include being an IRNE Award Winner for her role as Tracy in Hairspray, in addition to being a soloist at Boston Symphony Hall. She will talk about her experience and even share a song or two!
