The John J. McDonough Museum of Art is proud to announce a celebration fundraiser in honor of our 30 years as Youngstown State University’s Center for Contemporary Art! This virtual event on October 16 at 7pm will include art, music, an online auction (available October 16-18) and a surprise-filled swag bag. The anniversary celebration begins at 7pm with a music performance by Dr. Kent J. Englehardt featuring the talented jazz students from the Dana School of Music. The musicians play in the McDonough galleries surrounded by the iconic paintings of local legend Al Bright who was renowned for his painting performances to live jazz music. While you kick back and relax at home to watch the show you can reach into your swag bag and sample the delicious treats from some of your hometown favorites. You will also have an opportunity to bid on a variety of items in our online auction (which runs from October 16-18) including amazing artworks from our talented and generous local artists.  E-tickets are $60 and include a link for the performance, online auction and swag bag. Purchase them online here.
