Presented in partnership with Dobama Theatre
Doors:7pm, Show: 8pm

The body is a complicated and evolving vessel for experience and emotion. Inspired by art currently on view at MOCA, this program will take you from a main stage theatrical performance to MOCA’s galleries for unique experiences that share an interest in the body and how it is imagined. The night will include 3 parts:

CONDUCTOR | Experience sound, rhythm, and volume through the subtle, complex body movements of Contemporary Youth Orchestradirector, Liza Grossman in this orchestra-less performance piece by artist Xavier Cha.

IN VIVO | Three lonely people bind together as their lives and bodies begin heralding events far beyond their comprehension. What happens when you discover you aren’t alone in your own body? Tragedy and mystery ensue in this new work by acclaimed playwright Eric Coble starring Bob Ellis*, Tracee Patterson*, and Lauryn Hobbs.

MUSEUM DE-TOUR | A nonsensical experience of original interpretations inspired by Stranger, MOCA’s exhibition of the unnerving and strange depictions of the body.
