In-person Workshops and Exhibitions Are Back!

This summer the Morgan is continuing to host virtual workshops in papermaking, book arts, and printmaking. We are excited to bring back in-person workshops for local instructors and participants as well. Our studios are being set up to allow for social distancing, and they are waiting for you!

Last year our annual Artist in Residence exhibition was postponed. We are excited to present the work of our 2019 AIRs: Christi Birchfield, April Bleakney, Denise Bookwalter, Hong Hong, Winsome Jobling, Ann Marie Kennedy, Matt Liddle, Andrew Mancuso, Toby Millman, Claudio Orso, Ashley Pastore, Karen J. Revis, Lee Running, and Taro Takizawa. This Moment: An Artist in Residence Exhibition will be on view June 4 through July 17. Please visit our website for current gallery hours.

Museum of Creative Human Art (MoCHA) is taking over the Morgan’s gallery July 30 through September 11, presenting Cross Generations; bridging the gap of artists. MoCHA sets its intentions on intergenerational connection as it plans to curate a show that brings multidisciplinary artists of different generations under one roof. “Relationships are the critical ingredient in well-being, particularly as we age.”
