Time, Space & Life: Works by David Buttram & Deborah Silver

ARTneo is proud to present works by David Buttram and Deborah Silver, the second- and third-prize winners of ARTneo’s Cleveland Creates 2017 juried exhibition. Buttram creates paintings that pay close attention to light, shadow, reflections and color to reveal a range of human emotions. Silver combines cultural connections by juxtaposing traditional tribal masks with contemporary portraits through weavings. Both artists look at time, space, and life to present a story that is reinterpreted through our own experiences.

The exhibition opens Friday, May 18 and runs through Friday, June 15.

Day Job: The Working Artist

It’s rare to find an artist who can support themselves on their fine art alone. Day Job: The Working Artist examines how artists of Northeast Ohio used their skills for both their fine art and in commercial art to earn a living yet still be able to enhance their creativity.
