Get Out The Vote

July 7 – 30, 2016

Get Out the Vote is an exhibition of posters produced by the AIGA Design for Democracy initiative. Designers were invited to create nonpartisan posters that inspire the American public to participate in the electoral process and vote in the 2016 general election. The project aims to engage designers in the public arena by contributing to a coordinated voter mobilization campaign.

Sixty Paintings from the Bible

September 1 – October 8

Archie Rand can best be described as a trailblazing and fearless artist in subject and style. The Sixty Paintings from the Bible series exemplifies Rand’s pioneering, playful, and always thought-provoking approach. Each canvas portrays a familiar story from the Bible, rendered in colorful tones and with comic book bubbles, offering original, daring, and sometimes humorous interpretations of Judaism’s foundational stories. Rand is widely recognized as the most innovative and prolific painter on Jewish themes today.

To Speak Her Heart

September 1 – October 8

This heartfelt exhibition highlights images from To Speak Her Heart, An Illustrated Anthology of Jewish Women’s Prayers, and Poems, by Leslie A. Golomb and Barbara Broff Goldman. The artwork serves as a unique illumination of Jewish women’s lives as far back as biblical times, and journeys throughout the land of Israel and the Jewish Diaspora. The artists bring the prayers and poems to life through various printmaking processes and bookbinding methods.
