Leach’s installations form a synergy of shape, color, spatial arrangement, balance, and recognizable forms that suggest all manner of both formal aesthetics, underlying meaning, and potential narratives.

 

Ashley Lyon: Weighing the Sunset
Lyon’s new work is figurative fragments and figurative objects, giving nod to traditional Greek and Roman statuary worn and dismembered by time. Unglazed, their intense color comes from pigments in the clay body.
